Friday's program will have nine races, one more than a typical weekday and a trend that could be more prevalent in coming months.
Tim Ritvo, the chief operating officer of the track's parent company - The Stronach Group - said last weekend that the track would like to add races when sufficient runners are available through the end of the spring-summer meeting on June 24.
For Friday's program, there are fields of 7, 7, 6, 9, 10, 12, 11, 10, 12.
The fifth and eighth races will be run at a mile on turf with safety limits of 10 starters. The races actually drew 12 and 14 entries, resulting in also-eligible lists.
