Treasuring (2) will have the longest race of her career in Saturday's China Doll Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at a mile on turf.
She was fifth in the Sweet Life Stakes on the hillside turf course on Feb. 11 and could benefit from a longer race.
The condition of the turf course may be a boost, too. A light rain has fallen in the last hour, though the course is rightfully still rated as firm. Still, there is some moisture in the surface.
Treasuring, trained by Simon Callaghan, won the Group 3 Curragh Stakes at five furlongs on turf in Ireland last year, the only group stakes winner in the China Doll field.
She may be worth a look in a competitive race. The 12-1 price on the morning-line is a good guide.
