The jockeys who who were unseated in a three-horse accident in the eighth race at Laurel Park on Saturday were not badly injured.
Edwin Gonzalez, who walked away unscathed, and Steve Hamilton, who had neck pain and X-rays taken, are both riding today. Elvis Trujillo has taken off his Sunday mounts but X-rays of his shoulder were negative and he is only sore, according to his agent, Kevin Witte. He will resume riding Friday at Laurel.
Gato Dolce, who fell in the stretch and started the chain-reaction spill, was euthanized on the track. The other two horses who went down, Chargin Storm and My Train, got to their feet and ran off after the accident. They were brought back to be unsaddled by the track's outriders.
