Jevian Toledo, the winningest rider in Maryland in 2017, scored his first win since returning from a back injury last Friday in the race 9 finale at Laurel Park on Sunday.
The Great Renaldo, the fourth mount of Toledo's comeback, rallied from far back in the 10-horse field. The Great Renaldo, who is trained by John Salzman Jr., paid $6.80.
Toledo was injured while working a horse on the morning of Jan. 21.
