Top Irish steeplechase jockey Ruby Walsh was taken to a local hospital with a suspected leg injury after he was involved in a spill in Wednesday's second race at Cheltenham.
Walsh's mount, Al Boum Photo, fell at the second-to-last fence of the RSA Novices' Chase. Al Boum Photo appeared to roll onto Walsh, who remained on the ground. He was transported via ambulance to a hospital for x-rays. Al Boum Photo did not appear to suffer any injury.
Walsh, who returned from a four-month break last week caused by a broken leg, won two Grade 1 races at Cheltenham on Tuesday.
