Nonsuch held on, just barely, over late surging longshot Escarapela to keep most everyone alive as the favorite in leg 2 of the Rainbow 6.  Escarapela would have kicked out a large majority of the tickets had he gotten up at 23-1 in another improved showing for the lightly raced 3yo on grass.  Irad Ortiz Jr. rode the winner who returned quick dividends off the claim for trainer Ron Spatz.
