It's hard to have a better day than trainer Claudio Gonzalez did at Laurel Park on Sunday.
Gonzalez won races 2, 3, 5, and 6 and finished first and second in the sixth. His other starter on the card finished second in race 4.
Gonzalez's winners were Pachi Cruze ($9.80) in race 2, Hashtag Selfie ($2.80) in race 3, Young American ($4.40) in race 5, and Mischief Maas ($3.80) in race 6.
The Mischief Maas-Candycoated Dame exacta in race 6 returned $10.80.
Gonzalez was the winningest trainer in Maryland in 2017 and leads the standings at the current winter meet.
