Another 5-day week at Gulfstream starts today with a 10-race card that will get under way at about 12:35 ET amid conditions that have become almost standard this winter (and now spring): fast and firm, sunny and breezy, with a high to reach to the mid-70s.

There's not so much as one allowance race on the Wednesday card, which doesn't necessarily detract from the usual focal point: the Rainbow 6, which starts with nearly $3.8 million in the rollover jackpot. The sequence spans races 5-10 and will start around 2:35 ET.

The Rainbow 6 "forceout" will coincide with a 14-race Florida Derby card March 31, assuming it's not swept by a solo winner one day before then.
