Alonso Quinonez is a late replacement to ride the 10-year-old gelding Soi Phet (1) in Friday's seventh race, according to trainer Leonard Powell. The seventh race, an optional claimer, is the first start of the year for the multiple stakes winner.

Quinonez replaces Kent Desormeaux, who is traveling to Louisiana for Saturday's Louisiana Derby program at Fair Grounds.
