Saturday's $2 pick six begins in the fifth race with a carryover of $173,091 in the single ticket jackpot portion of the pool, which is paid only if there is one winning ticket.
The pick six covers the fifth through 10th races.
The fifth race is a maiden race on the hillside turf course for 3-year-old fillies. One intriguing runner is the British import Unchaining Melody (2).
Now with trainer John Sadler, Unchaining Melody was second in an allowance race on turf at Lingfield Park last August, finishing six lengths behind Gavota. In the fall, Gavota was third in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes and second in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes in England, losing the latter race by a neck.
Unchaining Melody is 4-1 on the morning-line, but is likely to be a shorter price.
