Trainer Randi Persaud, who won four races in a six-day span at the end of March, struck again in Saturday's opener, sending out Buss the Bell to an upset in a maiden $40K claimer.

Buss the Belle, who was second at odds of 115-1 in a similar spot on March 24, was sent off at 10-1 in this six-horse field.

Buss the Bell, under Abel Lezcano, stalked Wushu Warrior, the 8-5 fave, til midstretch before taking the lead. He held Flipped at bay to the wire to win by three-quarters of a length.
