Silent Sting takes Queenston

Silent Sting (3-1) caught the favored Blueblood in deep stretch to land his season opener in the $125K Queenston Stakes. Sable Island weakened to third after setting moderate splits in the seven-furlong sprint for Canadian-bred 3yos.

Luis Contreras rode Silent Sting for Stronach Stable and trainer Sid Attard.
