Lone Star Park announced Friday night that it experienced gains in handle during its opening week that ran from April 19-22. 

The track handled $1.5 million on its opening night card April 19 in what was the track's highest single-day handle since Memorial Day in 2011. It also was a 55 percent increase over the corresponding card in 2017, according to the release from Lone Star. 

 The track announced handle over its first four dates was up over 2017.
