Blind Ambition led all the way to win the $125,000 Elusive Quality at Belmont Park on Saturday, pulling away in the stretch to score by about 2 1/2 lengths.
Blind Ambition, who is trained by Todd Pletcher and was ridden by John Velazquez, paid $12.40. He sizzled the seven furlongs over a Widener turf course rated "good" in 1:20.65.
The win was the second on the card for Velazquez and the 5.900th of his career, not counting his one victory in Puerto Rico.
Conquest Panthera finished well to be second, about two lengths ahead of Undrafted, who rallied from last in the 10-horse field.
