The featured $125K Fury Stakes is an important prep for the $500K Woodbine Oaks. Avie's Mineshaft and the once-beaten Summer Sunday are the obvious protagonists in the seven-furlong sprint. Trainer Mark Casse said the debuting Malibu Moon filly Luvutothemoonnback probably wants a route of ground. Glamanation has worked well for her first outing in nearly eight months, but might need one.
The Jackpot Hi 5 carryover is $14K.
