Conquest Mo Money, the 2017 Arkansas Derby runner-up who has not raced since finishing seventh in last year's Preakness, is scheduled to make his first start back on Sunday. He is entered in a six furlong allowance at Lone Star Park.
The Sunday card at Lone Star features the Grade 3, $200,000 Steve Sexton Mile, and Conquest Mo Money's stablemate, Oh So Regal, will be running in that race. The horses are invading from New Mexico for Judge Lanier Racing and trainer Miguel Hernandez. Both horses will be ridden by Alfredo Juarez, Jr.
Conquest Mo Money won both the Riley Allison and Mine That Bird Derby last year at Sunland before finishing second in the Grade 3, $800,000 Sunland Derby and second in the Grade 1, $1 million Arkansas Derby that was won by champion Classic Empire.
