Bolt d'Oro rolled around the first turn at the end of his training on Friday morning, going three furlongs in :38 and change on colleague Mike Welsch's watch from about the wire to the five-furlong pole.

His gallop up to that point mirrored what he had done prior mornings, in which he started off slowly and appeared to do better the farther he went.
