Most of the Kentucky Oaks fillies - including favored Monomoy Girl and her stablemates - kept a quiet morning at Churchill Downs, merely walking the shedrow on race day.

Only two pink saddle towels appeared during the 15-minute reserved window to start training hours today, as second choice Midnight Bisou and longshot Classy Act both went for gallops.

I have been impressed with how Midnight Bisou has settled in this week. After appearing anxious in her first days here, galloping with her head high and getting hot while paddock schooling, she has calmed and settled noticably as the week has gone on. This morning, she galloped like a relaxed and confident horse.
