Finger Lakes cancels Tuesday card to conserve horse population

Finger Lakes has canceled its Tuesday card due to a shortage of race-ready horses.

A release from the track said that winter weather has put some horses behind in their training, and that canceling the Tuesday card will help conserve the horse population.

Finger Lakes began its meet April 21.
