Lipstickonmycollar paid $3.30 in race 1 at Belmont on Sunday for trainer Chris Englehart and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr.
Unfortunately, Desert Affair, a 4-year-old filly trained by Randi Persuad, broke down entering the stretch of the $14,000 claiming race. She was euthanized on the track.
Mike Luzzi, who was thrown hard when Desert Affair was injured. Walked to the ambulance uder his own power.
