Riding for the first time since March 18, jockey Rafael Bejarano finishe second in Thursday's fourth race on True Valor in a $10,000 claimer at 6 1-2 furlongs.
Bejarano injured a wrist in a spill on March 18 and resumed exercising horses last week.
Bejarano has two additional mounts this afternoon - Stormin Monarcho in the seventh race and Pulpacheeks in the eighth race.
True Valor was claimed in a five-way shake by Steve Miyadi. Race winner Well Measured, the 7-5 favorite, was claimed by Genaro Vallejo, but that claim was voided early in the 3 o'clock hour, meaning the 7-year-old gelding will be returned to trainer Ron Ellis.
