Westwood (5-2) stalked the pace-setting Skyler's Scramjet, took over from that one turning for home and went on to win the $150,000 Runhappy by three-quarters of a length over a resurgent Skyler's Scramjet.
Fourth win on the card for Velazquez.
First stakes win for Westwood a gelding by Bernardini out of the champion filly Ashado.
