Pimlico management took races 2 and 4 off turf early Saturday morning but at 8 a.m. it was announced that only race 9, the Gallorette, would remain on the turf.
The additional races taken off the grass are the Grade 2 Dixie (race 7), the James W. Murphy (race 5), and The Very One (race 11).
Both World Approval, the male champion turf horse of 2017, and two-time Grade 1 winner Divisidero, have been scratched from the Dixie.
World Approval will now be pointed to the Grade 2, $200,000 Wise Dan at Churchill Downs on June 16, according to trainer Mark Casse.
Divisidero is likely to race next Saturday in the Grade 2, $200,000 Monmouth Stakes, per trainer Kelly Rubley.
More scratch information later.
