Jockey Jayson Rodriguez was injured when the horse he was riding, Chase the Money, fell after clipping the heels of Cash Hit mid-stretch. Rodriiguez was moving, but the first-aid attendents were very cautions putting him on a stretcher before moving him into the track ambulance. He is currentlly being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Cash Hit, ridden by Amadeo Perez, was disqualifed for drifting in and causing the incicent.

Chase the Money appeared to be fine.
