Social Misfit upsets Mobile Bay in Louisiana Legends Classic at Evangeline

Social Misfit, at 8-1, battled to win the $100,000 Louisiana Legends Classic on Saturday night at Evangeline Downs, upsetting 1-2 favorite Mobile Bay, who ran off the board after a slow start. Social Misfit covered the mile and a sixteenth on a track that had been upgraded to fast in 1:45.94. Tim Thornton was aboard for trainer Karl Broberg.
