Eilos Milos was last of nine early, but made a strong albeit wide middle move around the far turn and sustained it through the lane even with favored Suas leaning on him to win his career debut by a half-length over Suas.
Elios Milos, a son of Dublin, ran 6 1-2 furlongs in 1:16.65 and returned $22.60. Jose Ortiz rode the winner for Jorge Abreu, the former Chad Brown assistant who has been sending out a lot of runners at nice prices.
