Twisted Rosie closed wide through the stretch to win a $20,000 claimer at six furlongs in Friday's seventh race, giving trainer Jeff Bonde his first win of the meeting with his 21st starter.
The meeting began on April 13. Bonde has 12 wins on the year.
Twisted Rosie ($6.40) ended a six-race losing streak since a starter allowance with a $40,000 claiming option here last October.
A 3-year-old filly by Twice the Appeal, Twisted Rosie was claimed by Steve Knapp in a two-way shake. Runner-up Uno Trouble Maker was claimed in a two-way shake by trainer Bill Spawr. Palace Paynter, fifth as the even-money favorite, was claimed in a seven-way shake by Reed Saldana.
