Tower of Texas will try to win the G2 Connaught Cup for the second year in a row under Eurico Da Silva. The seven-furlong turf tilt lured a host of American shippers: Caribou Club, Conquest Panthera, Camelot Kitten, Forge, Dimenson and Bondurant, who was supplemented by trainer Ian Wilkes.
Probable pacemaker Yorkton remains in the field. He was cross-entered in Sunday's Achievement Stakes.
A full field of 2yos will line up in the fifth, a four and a half-furlong maiden special. Maritime Breeze has worked well and is bred to be precocious, but her outside draw is a negative. Also eligibles Real Treasure, Sav and Firey and Gorgeous were re-entered Sunday. AE Truly Honoured is also out.
