With about eight minutes to post for Sunday's fifth race, Mobou (1) unseated jockey Gary Stevens in the post parade and was briefly loose. The colt jogged into the winner's circle and even walked two strides along a concrete path before reversing toward the racetrack where he was grabbed by trainer John Shirreffs, who frequently watches post parades trackside.

With five minutes to post, Mobou was 3-2 and was still an intended starter.
