Double Star, who has won back-to-back stakes in his last two starts, makes his turf debut Monday at Louisiana Downs in the featured sixth race. The about mile race has a purse of $22,000. Double Star could develop into a candidate for next month's Prelude Stakes, according to his trainer, Bob Schultz.

Also on the Monday card, there is a $59,503 pick five jackpot carryover, according to DRF Bets. First post is 3:15 p.m. Central.
