Whitmore should get a fair amount of pace to run at today, and the extra half-furlong may be to his liking. Favorable Outcome has always hinted at being a top-class horse, but it seems like he’s failed when tested against better competition; having said that, he enters the Belmont Sprint with the co-highest last out Beyer Speed Figure in the field (102).
