The long-priced Presque Isle shipper Stifling finished just a neck in arrears, so it's not like she didn't deserve the $60K first money, along with the thick black type that goes with it. Lukewarm favorite Entirely, another American shipper, maiden a premature wide move on the turn before flattening out to fourth.
Second-leading rider Eurico Da Silva won four races, and Luis Contreras doubled up.
Trainer Pat Parente annexed back-to-back events, with favorites Ault and Frankofalltrades.
Racing resumes with another 11-race card Sunday, when the Jackpot Hi 5 carryover is $47K.
