A pair of 2-year-olds by the hot freshman sire Goldencents will make their stakes debuts in separate weekend races in Louisiana and Texas. 

Pickett goes in a division of the $75,000 D.S. "Shine" Young Futurity on Saturday night at Evangeline Downs. He won his career debut by six and a half lengths in his last start, and earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 56. 

Silvercents is entered in the $100,000 fillies division of the Texas Thoroughbred Futurity on Sunday at Lone Star Park. She won her maiden in her second career start last out, rolling by four and three-quarter lengths and earning a Beyer Speed Figure of 70.
