The Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July horses of racing age sale is under way i Lexingto and a filly by Speightstown is the early sales topper. A total of 175 horses are cataloged, but there will be plenty of outs.
Blazen Betsy, a 3-year-old filly who broke her maiden in her 2nd start at Thistledown by more than 13 lengths (72 Beyer), brought a bid of $325,000 from Green Lantern Stables. It’s the family of Killer Graces and Chocolate Ride.
