Belle Force, who was attempting to give trainer Al Stall, Jr., his 14th win from his last 15 starts in Louisiana, finished second in Monday's fourth race at Louisiana Downs. The maiden special weight for Louisiana-bred fillies and mares was moved from the turf to the main track. Belle Force tracked the pace in second, was angled out coming to the quarter pole, and rallied at 6-5. (The pacesetter, Stella's Honor, was pulled up at the top of the stretch in the race won by five lengths by favorite Hot and Ready.)
