The Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July horses or racing age sale finished down slightly in average compared with last year, as 100 horses were sold for a total of $9,318,000, an average of $93,180.

Last year, the sale averaged $96,226 for 84 sold. This year, 16% were not sold, compared with 15.2% in 2017. The median this year was down 12%, from $56,000 to $50,000.
