The Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July yearling sale finished with 196 horses sold for an average price of $100,829 and a median of $75,000. The average was up 7.7 percent over last year’s average of $93,645, and the $75,000 median was up 7.1 percent over the $70,000 median in 2017.
With more horses sold this year than last, the total receipts rose 22.7 percent, to $19,762,500 from $16,107,000.
