Everyone recognizes that ELATE (6) is the best horse in the race and the most likely winner, but if you're going to beat her, today is probably the time to do it. Coming off a nine-month layoff going ten-furlongs is a lot to overcome, so I'll take a small shot against her with a horse I've always loved, TERESA Z (1). Teresa Z was a solid winner of the local prep for the Delaware Handicap, and I think the added distance will be to her liking.
