I'm late on this, but jockey Jose Garcia had a huge day at Delaware Park on Saturday, winning with five of his seven rides.
Garcia won races 1, 4, 5, 7, and 8, all for different trainers.
He won the opener on Fleet Cruiser ($3.40) for Anthony Pecoraro; the 4th on Play Me Now ($8.20) for Randy Nunley; race 5 on Nora's Drama ($16.80) for Gerald Bennett; the 7th on Vente to Go ($5) for Cesar Nambo; and race 8 on the Arabian runner Uptown Sandy Girl ($2.80) for Lynn Asby.
Garcia is now 12 for 81 at the meet and tied for fifth in the standings.
