Stormy Liberal, the 30-1 winner of the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint last November, will be favored to win for the first time this year in an allowance race with a $100,000 claiming option in Wednesday's fourth race at five furlongs on turf.
Drayden Van Dyke will ride Stormy Liberal (7) for trainer Peter Miller and owners Rockingham Ranch and David Bernsen. Stormy Liberal will start from the outside in a field of seven.
Stormy Liberal is winless in three starts this year - a second in the Grade 3 Daytona Stakes at Santa Anita in February, a second in the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai in March and a sixth, by two lengths, in the Grade 2 Jaipur Stakes at Belmont Park on June 9.
Stormy Liberal faces a field that includes Tribalist (5), who won the Green Flash Handicap here last August, and Law Abidin Citizen (1), the winner of an optional claimer for turf sprinters at Santa Anita on June 8.
