Jockey Jorge Vargas Jr. wasn't letting the grass grow under his feet Thursday.

He won the second race at Laurel Park on Fashion Week ($6.20) for Shug McGaughey, jumped in his car and drove to Delaware Park and won the seventh race there on his"favorite horse " The Man ($4.20) for trainer John Servis.

Vargas is now 8 for 10 on The Man, a 6-year-old Pennsylvania-bred gelding,who is owned by Bob Baffert's wife, Natalie.

The drive from Laurel Park to Delaware Park is roughly 90 miles.
