Jockeys Ricardo Santana Jr. and Irad Ortiz Jr. were both fined $2,000 by the stewards for careless riding as a result of separate incidents on Thursday's card.

Ortiz wasn't disqualified in his incident in which, aboard Brimstone, he carried out another horse seven paths. Santana was disqualified from first aboard Super Simple for carrying out Guacamole three paths while trying to avoid a tiring pace-setter in front of him.
