Apprentice jockey Heriberto Figueroa had a perfect day Friday, winning with his three mounts on the eight-race program.

This was the first time Figueroa had a three-win day at Del Mar. Figueroa, 18, rode three wins on a program for the first time in his career at Los Alamitos on July 14.

Friday, Figueroa won with Lucky Staxx ($13.60) in the first race, Family Girl ($16.40) in the second, and Tell Me More ($15.40) in the fifth race. Family Girl and Tell Me More are owned by Ballena Vista Farm and trained by Peter Miller.
