Despite finishing up the track in the Queen's Plate, Woodbine Oaks winner Dixie Moon opened up at 1-9 in the five-horse Wonder Where Stakes, the final leg of the Canadian Triple Tiara.
The wild card in the 10-furlong test is Avie's Mineshaft, who's making her first grass start. There's ample turf breeding on her dam's side, and the daughter of Mineshaft is worth playing at her 5-1 morning line quote. Her rider, Gary Boulanger, won the G3 Seagram Cup earlier on the card.
There is no place or show wagering on the $225K contest.
