Fuhriously Kissed, who was fourth to Elate in the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap in her last start July 14, is entered in a Saturday stakes at Thistledown but she will instead run in the Grade 1, $700,000 Personal Ensign on Aug. 25 at Saratoga, owner Ron Paolucci said Thursday.
Furiously Kissed is part of the field for the $200,000 Lady Jacqueline on Saturday at Thistedown. Earlier this year she ran third in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom Handicap at Oaklawn. There were a couple of reasons to target the Personal Ensign, said Paolucci.
"She's already up there and training and it’s a Grade 1," he said. "She was really comprised in the Delaware Handicap by the [lack of] pace."
Jose Bracho has the mount in the Personal Ensign, said Paolucci.
