The upcoming Jameela is a wide-open race, and the toteboard would seem to back that notion up; five of the seven horses scheduled to run are currently between odds of 3-1 and 4-1 (15 MTP). The key to the Jameela could be the distance; most turf sprints in Maryland are carded at either 5 or 5.5 furlongs (depending on venue), but today's stake is to be run at 6 furlongs. The final half-furlong could be just what MY SISTERSLEDGE (9) has always wanted. My Sistersledge has done her best work sprinting from off the pace on grass, but she always seems to come up a bit short - but at shorter distances. Today's distance should work to her advantage, and she's worth consideration here.
