Diodoro enters Evangeline card one win from 2,000

Trainer Robertino Diodoro comes into Saturday night's card at Evangeline Downs one win from 2,000 career Thoroughbred training victories in North America.

He has one starter on the program, according to a notice from Equibase and Evangeline announcer Michael Chamberlain: Colonial Power(1) in Race 2.

Diodoro has won three races at Canterbury today, Saturday, and another at Laurel.
