Apprentice Romero Maragh makes quite the Saratoga debut

Romero Maragh, a seven-pound apprentice, made quite the Saratoga debut by guiding 48-1 shot Won't Be Missed to victory in the ninth.

Maragh, a cousin to Rajiv Maragh, had won 27 races at Gulfstream.

The winner paid $98 and capped a difficult pick-6 sequence that wasn't hit. There is a pick-6 carryover of $166,166 into Wednesday's morning.

Big Horn Ranger, the longest price on the board at 60-1, was pulled up down the backstretch by Dylan Davis and was vanned off.
