Earlier today I noted here that yesterday’s Saratoga main track played fairly and with nothing but perfect weather in the interim, it would be fair to assume that today’s track would be fair, too.
Well, the just concluded Seeking the Ante Stakes here at Saratoga was the fourth dirt race of the day, and Seeking the Ante winner Party Like Grandma was the fourth speed winner.
Proof (again) that you don’t need weather to produce a track bias.
While a track bias can be the horseplayer’s best friend, here’s hoping this track evens out for tomorrow’s races. It would be a shame to see Saturday’s big races here affected by a track bias.
