Caray ($37.20) won a starter allowance at 6 1-2 furlongs by a head over even-money favorite Kershaw to record an upset in the first leg of the $2 pick six on Friday.

Trained by Gary Stute and ridden by Tiago Pereira, Caray was the longest shot in a field of seven. The pick six began with a carryover of $39,440 in the main pool. Bettors added $224,690 to the pool on Friday.
